PLEASE SUPPORT THE LAA FUNDRAISING RAFFLE
The WCA Lifetime Achievement Awards are a proud 30 year tradition of
honoring women who make significant contributions to feminism and the
visual arts. PLEASE help us in raising the needed funds for this
inspiring event, which is funded entirely by contributions.
This year’s raffle prize, pictured below, is donated by Eleanor
Speiss-Ferris, a noted Chicago artist who’s been exhibiting her work
for over 30 years. She’s donated a richly jewel toned lithograph
titled “THE LIFE CYCLE OF THE MOTH”( 19″ x 19”).

chapters will be announced shortly thereafter by email.

Last year, St Louis earned the first prize, Washington D.C. received
the second prize and the California South Bay got the third prize.
Thanks to all who helped make last year’s raffle such a success! Our
combined efforts raised over $ 3000, a significant increase over the
year before,…..We’re hoping we can do as well this year. As you
know, all proceeds go directly to the costs of the event and
catalog. If your chapter members purchase tickets online ,and you
wish to count them in the chapter competition, please include their
names on the reporting sheet with the other tickets you sell .
This year the awards will be held on Saturday Feb 13th, at 7:30 pm.
The dinner before the awards starts at 6:00. The festivities take
place at the Chicago Cultural Center, 77 East Randolph Street in
Chicago , during the WCA and College Art Association Conferences.
